on the Land of Israel was growing stronger and becoming more and more established, and that the remaining Jewish refugees from the Land of Israel had submissively grown accustomed to their new status, 2 new undergrounds suddenly blossomed. The first underground, the more famed one, was the ILO - Israel Liberation Organization, comprised of ex-IDF soldiers and supported by United States Jewry. The new State of Israel which would arise, if it would arise, would be independent on the one hand, but would also accept the American constitution and upon its establishment, would join the Union as a State, while maintaining its Israeli/Jewish identity. The second underground was simply called IFF Israeli Freedom Fighters and surprisingly it was hinted that its leaders and many of its anonymous soldiers were Russian, from among those Russian Jews who had emigrated to Israel over the years. The language used in the underground was Russian and its aim was to re-establish the State of Israel on the ruins of the State of Palestine. "The State of Israel arose," thus the poster, "before the State of Palestine, the nation of Israel arose before the hordes called the Palestinian nation and therefore, it will be the same in the future. We shall return the Land of Israel to the nation of Israel and shall re-establish the State of Israel in its land. The IFF underground opposes any tie to the United States, except for cultural and friendly relations between the nations. The Nation of Israel must live alone among the nations and not as a satellite of the large American nation, which we honor and thank". It was a historical joke that the Jews of Russia, also including those who were "not suspected of being Jews" were among the first to discover their love for their homeland and their Israeli heritage and were even ready to be the first to die for it. Posters that announced the establishment of the new undergrounds sprung up overnight on the poles and walls and were circulated in dozens on the sidewalks of the main thoroughfares of Tel-Aviv. The Palestinian Intelligence Officers frantically traversed the markets and squares, pubs and restaurants, searching for the roots of the underground organizations, sometimes with open violence, other times with sweet words. In the meantime, many Palestinian army officers and soldiers began to be hit and disappear. There were attacks on the institutions of the Palestinian rule and the heads of the Arab families who took over the apartments of Jews in upscale neighborhoods in the Dan Region, while confiscating and dispossessing the Jews of their homes.
